The west may be ahead of the rest of the world in many areas but there are two fields in which the Eastern, African and Latin American nations are way way better:
1. Fabric, Colour, Pattern and Clothing.
2. Food.
And these two are also strong revenue generating avenues. I've lived in USA for eleven years. The Americans are far more open to exploring and absorbing world cultures than many may realise. It's simply that awareness is limited because of insufficient advertising. Just compare the massive advertising effort in consolidating the market for western wear all over the world versus the comparatively insignificant effort in consolidating markets for African, Indian, Japanese, Etc. clothing in the west.
Everyone wears clothes everyday 😅 - we are missing this massive economic opportunity to our own disadvantage 😊!
