Puja, Parikrama and Some Dua

Below is Shah Rukh Khan with a colleague from the entertainment industry at Lata Mangeshkar Ji's funeral.

Observe: In Photograph 1 he's doing a parikrama (circumambulation) of Lata Ji's body with folded hands as per Hindu customs and in Photograph 2 he raises his hands in Dua (Prayer & Blessing) as per Muslim customs.

Now show me: Where is the problem? Where is the conflict between Hindus and Muslims?

In reality, there is none. It is all manufactured for someone or the other's political or personal agenda. And those igniting fires from behind the scenes never suffer, they never have to pay the price. It is ALWAYS the common man, i.e. me and you, who suffers harm, has his or her property damaged, and often pays with his or her life.

That is why I emphasize again and again. Read about the Mutiny of 1857 and the British Divide and Rule Policy right after that. It was deliberate, well planned and well executed. Not only did Hindustan get divided into three parts, even within each part the people are still divided. Then it was the British, now it is our own politicians.

And who do you think is benefiting from our infighting? Who?
