All three words start with L, but there's a difference between being Loose & Licentious and being Liberal.
To be Liberal is to be liberal in thought, to rise above divisions of caste, color, religion and economic status and treat everyone humanely.
We've had a few centuries of evolution and civilization wherein we distinguished ourselves from animals by covering our bodies and keeping our personal affairs personal - not public. Disregarding this phase of human evolution isn't "being liberal", it's being unintelligent.
