I'm a practicing Hindu myself, but I can give you a written guarantee that becoming a "Hindu Rashtra" is the worst idea to encourage! The simple truth is that there are good and bad apples in every religion - we simply need to focus on the good and keep rejecting the bad wherever we see it.
And remove this idea of "Hindu Rashtra" and the Narendra Modi led BJP government will struggle in every election. They simply haven't delivered on things that really matter: Education, Healthcare, Job Creation, Law and Order. So all they have left to try and get votes by is polarizing us on the basis of religion.
