Think about this patiently;
There's a difference between a mind and intellect open to absorbing best practices from all around the globe and a colonized mind and intellect.
One of the most important things to do to challenge our presently British minds is to question our choice of school uniforms. We have been, and are continuing to, bringing up generation after generation with an impression that "western" is "normal".
And we can raise the above question while still keeping English as our medium of instruction - that helps us communicate with the world at large and is a sensible practice to sustain.
PS: How many people know that the choice of Sunday as the day to rest is based on that being the day for Church masses? Ideally, weekends ought to go from Friday lunch to Sunday lunch. This would give ALL religions an equal access to their religious practices.
