A Simple Kitchen Innovation

Below is a photograph of a little "kitchen innovation" that you might want to try :)!

I put the outlet tube of my RO water dispenser into a five litre portable plastic dispenser, which in turn has a tap that I turn on whenever I wash dishes. This has two benefits:

1. No water wastage from the RO.

2. The usual sink tap actually runs faster than necessary! The tap on the portable dispenser, however, runs just at the right speed such that dishes get washed without unnecessary water run-off.

(Such innovations also ensure you feel zero guilt on Holi :)!)

PS: If you want, you can also get a plumber to feed the output of your RO into the kitchen tap pipe. Then you don't have to use a separate plastic dispenser. Just be sure to not run the tap too fast 😅 as that causes a lot of wastage!
