The Native Way: Sometimes Better!

(I also invite you to read this: Reasons why Indian toilets are better than western toilets (indiatimes.com))

This might come across as too "native" a post and may make you go "What's happened to Brijesh 🙄 😏!" in your mind, but really, this is actually worth thinking about 🙂:

Please bear with me and think carefully about what I'm saying here 🙂. It's important:

The chair type commode-toilet system that's now installed in pretty much every house is actually not the healthiest way to excrete waste material from our stomach and intestines.

The "older" "native" way of sitting on our haunches is better - the thighs press against the stomach, compress it, and result in a more complete excretion. The more "modern" "chair type commode-toilet system" actually results in waste material staying back in our intestines and can potentially lead to health problems.

Getting used to the native way is actually just about a couple of weeks of discomfort unless one has serious knee / hip problems. In avoiding this discomfort and getting used to what feels like a more "comfortable" system, we are unnecessarily creating a potential gastrointestinal health issue.

I recommend a rethink and the associated engineering redesign.
