Think carefully: Shouldn't police personnel, flight attendants, and anyone else who might need to respond to situations with speed and agility, ideally use track suits and sneakers for footwear as uniforms? This can be done without compromising on the "looking slick!" part one bit.
Instead we have tight trousers, leather shoes, skirts, sarees, salwar kameezes, sandals, heels, ...
Doesn't seem ideal to me.
